About Pumicestone Indigenous Education & Employment Council

PIEEC is a community-led organisation grounded in the strength, knowledge and leadership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.

We work alongside parents, carers and kinship networks to support strong, self-determined futures for our jarjums and communities.

Our focus is on walking with families as they navigate education and employment pathways, providing advocacy, cultural capacity building and support that strengthens confidence, connection and opportunity.

PIEEC is an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander-led not-for-profit organisation. Our membership includes parents, carers, kinship families, Elders and community members who share a commitment to lifting up our jarjums and creating pathways for future generations.

At the heart of our work is relationship. We invest in local connections, community leadership and meaningful engagement to build stronger futures and contribute to genuine, community-driven reconciliation.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land, sea and sky that we have gathered on for thousands of generations, being the oldest living culture in the World. We acknowledge the vast social & environmental work and advocacy our Elders, past, present and emerging, have and continue to undertake, making our lives and future generations prosper.
